Asked before you ask
The six questions every agency owner has raised in a first call.
- Will my clients actually log in?
- Some won’t, and the product assumes it. Every update also arrives as one readable daily email they can reply to — the portal is where it’s true, not the only way to reach it.
- Do I have to show clients my hours?
- Per item, and per entry. Anything internal never reaches them and its hours don’t count toward the number they see. Retainer and fixed-price work can show progress without hours at all.
- Does it replace my invoicing?
- No. It produces the agreed, approved hours and a draft; your accounting keeps doing what it does. Export as CSV or PDF, or pull the same numbers through the API.
- Can I import from Jira, Asana, Trello?
- CSV import for items and customers, and we do the first migration with you. Two-way sync isn’t on the roadmap — two systems of record is the problem, not the solution.
- What if I leave?
- Items, hours, feed and attachments, in formats a spreadsheet opens — no export fee and no thirty-day hostage window. That is the commitment today: ask and we run it for you. The one-button version is in the relationship release.
- Is it for freelancers?
- It works solo, but it earns its place around three people and two clients — when nobody can hold the whole month in their head. Freelancer-as-collaborator access arrives with the relationship release.
